Akina nibbled on the meat. It was pretty good. Mostly she ate bugs and a little change was nice. As the rain came down Akina snarfed the rest of the meat down and ran into the warmth of the den. "I prefer it in here." Akina licked her paws thoughtfully. "I wonder....hey do any of you know the name for those featherless, wingless birds? You know, the ones that are nesting a little ways from here in large wooden dens.

Ohanzee trotted into the den and shook himself off. He looked outside and watched the rain. It seemed so peaceful, but so sad. He laid down with his head on his paws, pondering and listening to the rain.

"So, what do you all want to do til the rain holds off?" Lythrian asked her pack. She licked raindrops from her fur, it was just enough to wet her tongue. She watched as the stream grew, drop by drop, which wasn't very interesting.

Ohanzee just shrugged his shoulders, still facing the rain. What were you supposed to do on a rainy day? Usually he just took a nap or rested. Well, he hadn't any ideas anyways so he didn't say anything. He just kept on watching the rain. It was almost as if he had been consumed by it.

Bow stretched. "Hmm....I don't know." She relaxed and watched the rain dampining the earth. It was so peaceful and every now and then a roll of thunder broke the silence. Suddenly Bow turned back to Akina. "You were saying something about featherless birds?"

Akina shifted uncomfortable and wrapped her tail around herself. She had never liked the rain. It always made her feel sad and lonely. Akina turned back to Bow. "Oh, it was nothing." She yawned and curled up. "I find naps are always the best things for rainy days." Akina was soon asleep.

"yes...naps." Said Lythrian. Then she placed her head on her paws, and fell into a light sleep.

Bow looked at the two sleeping wolves and layed down herself. Resting her head on her paws she closed her eyes. The wound on her leg was all but healed and the sound of the rain was like a lullaby. A soft, rhymic lullaby puntured by occasional outburst of rolling thunder. "Good night,....my friends."

ooc: I'm sorry! I've had lots of homework! ic:
Ohanzee looked back over his shoulder at the sleeping wolves. They were so peaceful, just like the rain, and without a care in the world probably. He sighed. Life was very difficult. He looked back at the wolves again and smiled. Now wasn't the time to think about depressing matters. He lay his head back down on his paws and closed his eyes. He quickly fell into a deep sleep, dreaming of a happy future with his new pack.

ooc: :: Dreaming:: Prepare yourselves. It's a long one. ic: ::Bow found herself standing on a vast dark, frozed plane. A cold wind wrapped around her, blowing snow into her face. "Hello?" she called. There was no answer. Bow gazed out and saw nothing but dark and ice. Suddenly there was the sound of bells and....drums?
Bow turned sharply. The fog around her increased and then suddenly...the wind died down and the ice melted revealing a lush green meadow. Bow could hear a chanting female voice. It was a human voice. A human girl with mahogany skin, rich dark hair, and lively brown eyes walked up to her. The girl must've been about 12.
She reached out and tied an eagle feather in Bow's ruff. Then it felt like Bow was hit by a ton of bricks. It was Kaliska! Bow's best friend from her human tribe! Kaliska ran off calling Bow's name in that strange and comforting language of hers.
As Bow began to follow, her heart racing, she stopped. A lonesome howl rang out. Bow turned to see Lythrian, Akina, and Ohanzee standing there. Bow began to head back but Kaliska chanting turned her head. Bow relized that the ice was returning and that both Kaliska and the wolves were getting further away. "Make a desicion!" she screamed at herself. ::
Bow awoke with a snort. It was dark outside the cave. She could hear the soft drips of the water from leaves and the sounds of the night creatures. Bow stood up and stretched careful not to disturb her companions. She sat down outside the den and gazed at the stars wondering what her companions thought of humans.
She couldn't make a desicion. She had loved her human tribe but it was humans that destroyed both her tribes. Were humans good or bad? She just didn't know. Bow sighed as a cool night breeze played with her fur. Perhaps tomorow would hold an answer.

Ohanzee suddenly woke up. He jumped to his feet and looked around. He relaxed when he remembered where he was and who he was with. As he finished looking around the den, he noticed that Bow was sitting outside. He quietly walked up to her and sat down by her side. He looked up at the sky and didn't say anything for a time. He looked back at Bow. "So pretty..." When he realized what he was doing, he quickly looked back up at the stars. "The stars I mean. They're really pretty." He was embarrassed and just stopped talking, hoping she didn't notice anything.

Bow jumped startled. Oh, It was only Ohanzee. She blushed slightly having never really been around many male wolves. Most of her former pack were female. She gazed up at the stars. "Yes, they are beautiful." Something compelled her to say more so she did. "I'm sorry if I woke you, dreams can be so frustrating sometimes."

Akina heard voices. Her ears swiveled in the direction of the sound and she slowly opened her eyes. Bow and Ohanzee were sitting outside the cave talking. For a moment Akina wondered if she should join them. Naw....Akina grinned and layed her head back down, swiftly falling back to sleep.

Ohanzee smiled. "Yeah, I know what you mean. Dreams are frustrating at times." He looked down at the ground and wasn't quite sure what else to say. He decided not to say anything, but he felt like he had to say something. "Well...um...yeah. Dreams are frustrating and stars are pretty." He looked down in total embarrassment. He wasn't used to talking to any kind of wolf, much less a female, much less a female that he thought was pretty! He was blushing and angry that he was so stupid and ignorant. -Idiot! 'So, stars are pretty and dreams are frustrating' I can't believe you didn't think of anything better!- he shouted at himself. He felt like banging his head on the rock that was jutting out from the side of the den behind him. -Stupid, stupid, stupid!- But, he didn't move. He stayed right where he was, next to Bow, and kept his head down and turned away.

Bow smiled to herself. Ohanzee was clearly embarassed and so was she. After all he was rather...handsome. She blushed at the though. "Yes. Many things are beautiful and frustrating at the same time."
It didn't make sense but it was true. Bow closed her eyes and felt the salty brezze waft around her. It was blowing in from the sea and it relaxed and calmed her. Once again sleep beckoned.
"Well, thanks for taking the time to talk to me. I really appreciate it." Bow wasn't sure what to say so she just went for it. "I...uh...W-would....." she sighed. "What I mean to say is dawn will be coming soon. So, shall we try and get some rest?"
